Euro & US Size Comparisons
To give you a rough guide and starting point we have devised a simple chart for you to follow.
Please note that this is a guide only and as bras come in many shapes and
styles we advocate that you still use the fit guides to help to achieve the
look and feel that you require.

1.
Band size measurement is the ribcage measurement and not the size of the cup. It is always referred to in
numbers for example 32, 34 or 36 etc.
2.
Place a tape measure around your body just under your bust.
3.
Ensure the tape is level front & back - use a mirror or enlist the help of a friend to help you!
4.
Pull the tape tightly around your body and remember that a bra will stretch when worn but the tape will not!
5.
Use the table below to calculate your back size. For example if your underband measurement on the tape
measure is 32" then your bra band size will be 36”. Remember that if you fall between inch sizing you should
always round up to the next measurement.
If your new band size has changed, then your cup size will almost certainly have as well. If you have gone down
2 band sizes you will go up two cup sizes. So for example, if you were previously 38B and you are now wearing
34 your cup size will now be D cup as highlighted below.
Points to remember
Use these table guides as a starting point only and use it in
conjunction with the fit guides.
The same cup sizes will not be the same on different band sizes. For
example a cup size of 32D will not be the same as a 36D. It depends
on the bra band size as shown in the chart above.
Your new size may not feel right for you especially if you have been
wearing a bra that fitted incorrectly. The most common fault is
wearing a bra that has been too loose in the under band, therefore
your new band size will feel tighter. If your new band size is more
than two sizes different you may feel it more comfortable to change
one size at a time.
The tape measure can only provide a rough guide and you will only
know by trying on different styles and following the guides.
Remember the most important thing is to have the bra fitting
correctly. Try on different shapes to see what suits you and what
makes you feel comfortable.
Bra sizing may appear complicated but in fact it is very simple if you
follow the steps above.
The charts below show there is quite a difference in sizing between different countries. There is quite a
difference, especially in the larger cup sizes so use this for guidance only in conjunction with the fit guides.
